The fundamentals classes are a comprehensive hands-on introductory learning session for athletes that will take them through the 9 fundamental movements that are considered foundational to CrossFit, as well as , skill transfer and accessory movements that are commonly seen in our daily workouts. Additionally the fundamentals classes are essential for the trainers to assess individual aptitude, competency, and potential restrictions in athletes’ movement patterns. Each fundamentals session will include a tutorial introduction of foundational movements explaining how to perform the movements safely and efficiently, accompanied by a demonstration, followed by intimate group practice with trainer’s verbal and tactile cues. The fundamental class concludes with a classic CrossFit WOD (workout of the day), integrating everything you have learned and practiced in a traditional high intensity cardio and strength workout.
The fundamentals course lasts two weeks and consists of four sessions. The fundamentals course will cycle every other Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm
